The Lodge Boarding Kennels

Stella and David moved to the Lodge kennels in 2002 to follow their dream of creating a happy, healthy and clean holiday home for both cats and dogs.

Their love for animals stems from over 25 years of owning and showing Dobermanns.  Recently Boots the Swedish Vallhund has joined the family. (You may recognise Boots from one of her many appearances at Crufts).

The love for the animals is reflected in the kennels, we are caring and very patient.

The Accommodation

We have put a lot of work into building new kennels and an indoor cattery.  All of which are heated all day and night in the winter and even sometimes in the summer if the weather is cold.  We also play background music in the kennels for extra company and stimulation. 

The kennels are cleaned and disinfected daily.  All bedding is provided, but our guests are welcome to bring their own, as are special toys also welcome. We feed what the guest eat at home so not to upset their tummies with a change of diet.  We have an excellent supply of branded foods such as Burns, James Wellbeloved, IAMS ,Pedigree Complete cans/pouches,  

Bakers, Beta, Winalot, Butchers Tripe etc.

All medication can be administered free of charge.

A vet will be called if your pet becomes ill. All of our guests are let out individually to play 4 times daily, if not more.  When bedtime comes around it's frolic time and a good night cuddle. 

We ask that all guests have current vaccinations. Kennel cough is optional, but not compulsary.

All guests sharing are offered a discount *see prices*. We also offer a pick up and delivery service. The Lodge also offer an excellent grooming service (price upon request).

The Lodge is closed for admissions and pick up on Christmas Day, Boxing Day, and New Years Day

Inspection of our facilities is welcome by prior arrangement.
